We make these special offers as we try to fill remaining slots on a trip, or to reward guests for making reservations early so that we may better plan our season. Offers may change at any time. Important Information About our Special Rates We offer discounts for various reasons and special rates may go up or down at any time. The lowest rates might be for booking really early, or at the last minute we may offer a deep discount to fill that last space or two on a trip. While we reserve the right to cancel a trip with less than 4 guests, in 10 years we have never done so. If at all possible, we would rather run a trip with 2 guests than cancel it and ruin someone's vacation plans. So we might offer discounts to fill the trip. Our operating season is only 100 days per year so
we do what we can to make ends meet during that time. From your perspective as a Guest, you should know that everyone on the trip did not necessarily pay the same rate (just like on your flight to Alaska). Your trip is booked at the rate or current special applicable at the time you book. Of course, you’re free to make your reservation at anytime you choose; the special rates may go down if you wait, or they may go up, or the trip that you want might fill and you’d be totally out of luck. Like most businesses in the travel industry, we do not offer any sort of “low price guarantee” so, even if our rates change, your trip cost stays at the rate which we confirm with you when you book.
